Harold Vereen,
President, Vereen Promotions Group, LLC

Harold Vereen hails from the vibrant Low country of South Carolina where he was born and raised by his loving parents Chanie and Raymond Vereen. Growing up as the third of ten children, Harold’s upbringing was steeped in the rich traditions of the Gullah/Geechee culture, emphasizing values of faith, family, and hard work.

In Harold’s formative years, his community lacked modern amenities like electricity and running water, installing in him a deep appreciation for simplicity and resilience. Despite limited resources, Harold’s parents, though not formally educated imparted invaluable wisdom and instilled in him a thirst for knowledge.

Harold navigated the segregated school system, where he excelled under the encouragement of his parents. He became only the second person in his community to attend college, following in the footsteps of his older sister. Graduating from benedict College with a degree in Business Administration in 1972. Harold embarked on a successful corporate career, excelling in roles at Sears and Roebuck, Procter and Gamble, and Mead Corporation.
In 1985, Harold transitioned from the corporate world to entrepreneurship, becoming a partner at Stewart and Partners, a minority creative agency. Later he founded Vereen Marketing Group, Inc., providing graphics services for esteemed clients like PepsiCo and Seagram.

Harold’s is committed to serving God’s people through his various gifts. As a senior deacon at Macedonia Baptist Church in New PA and president of Mount Gilead Community Church in Buckingham, PA, he diligently serves the congregations and community. Additionally, Harold is the president of the Omega Delta Upsilon Foundation, Inc., supporting educational initiatives through the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Fraternity, Inc. of which he is an active member.

Harold has been married to Nancy Vereen for 51 years. They have three sons and several grand and great grandchildren.

Melvin Jackson, Secretery
United States District Court, Clerk Officer Retired

 Melvin Jackson, born July 18, 1957, in Trenton, New Jersey to Gladys and Otto Jackson, was one of seven children. He was educated in the Trenton school system, ultimately earning an Associate degree in Education from Mercer Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Trenton State College. After his education, Melvin dedicated 35 years of his career to the United States District Court, Clerk’s Office, serving as the Deputy in In Charge until his retirement. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., initiated on December 15, 1978

Melvin is also a proud parent of two children and two grandchildren.

Kenneth L. Moore, Member
Director Of Corporate Security, Bristol Myers Squibb

Mr. Moore joined Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in 2014 and currently serves as Sr. Director of Corporate Security. Mr. Moore provides leadership and guidance for the Physical Security Center of Excellence which provides security guidance and assistance to business partners and management for protection of corporate assets, including, personnel, proprietary information, facilities, crisis management, and material resources. He also directs Corporate Security and Compliance inquiries and investigations involving potential violations of law, company policies, or business ethics principles while exercising the utmost discretion.

Prior to joining BMS, Mr. Moore enjoyed a successful and distinguished career of almost 27 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent, dating back to 1987. During his years of service, he held a wide range of operational and leadership positions and was promoted in September 2009 into the FBI’s Senior Executive Service. Mr. Moore retired in 2014 after an exemplary career. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Moore served in the following leadership positions, (1) Special Agent in Charge of the Knoxville Division, (2) Chief Inspector for the FBI, (3) Assistant Special Agent In Charge of the Charlotte Division, (4) On-Scene Commander in Afghanistan, (5) Supervisory Senior Resident Agent of the Jackson Resident Agency, Memphis Division, and (6) Supervisory Special Agent in the Hate Crimes Unit, FBIHQ. His investigative experience included counterterrorism, counterintelligence, civil rights, and violent crimes. Mr. Moore oversaw the investigation of several nationally significant international terrorism and counterintelligence cases including an investigation which later received the “Director’s Award for Counterterrorism” and the “Attorney General’s Award for Counterterrorism”. Mr. Moore also served as the co-Senior Executive Service sponsor for the Black Affairs Diversity Committee (BADC).

Mr. Moore is a member of the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. located in Trenton, New Jersey. He is a past member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE). He also actively supports numerous national and community based organizations such as the National Urban League, The NAACP, Big Brothers Big Sisters, 100 Black Men, Boys and Girls Club, and the American Red Cross.

Mr. Moore is a native of Macon, Georgia. He and his wife, Julie, have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of two sons, Kenneth II and Darius Moore. They also have two precious grandchildren. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating Cum Laude.

Mr. Moore’s lifelong philosophy is, “Of them much is given, much is required”.

Col. Walter Nall (Retired)

Walter R. Nall served as the acting Deputy Commissioner of Veterans Affairs, New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs until January 12, 2023. In January 2018, he was appointed Director of Veterans Services following his assignment as superintendent of the Veterans Haven South Transitional Housing Program for homeless Veterans located in Winslow Township. He retired from Department of Military and Veterans Affairs after 28 years of service.

Nall began his military career in 1983 when he enlisted as a private in the Alabama Army National Guard. Upon completing Officer Candidate School, he was commissioned as a Field Artillery Second Lieutenant in June 1986. He completed the Artillery and Quartermaster Advance Courses in 1992 and 1999 respectively. Nall served in Operation Iraqi Freedom III with the 42nd Division Support Command (DISCOM) in 2005 and in Afghanistan with Special Operations Command in 2011. He retired as a Colonel from the New Jersey Army National Guard after more than 33 years of service.

Nall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Troy State University and a Master’s of Science degree in management from Liberty University. Nall is very active with community and fraternal organizations. He is a lifetime member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated and served as the Basileus (President) of the Delta Upsilon Chapter in Trenton. In addition, Nall is a member of other organizations to include:

Veterans of Foreign Wars (Life Member), American Legion (Paid Up For Life), Disabled American Veteran, Prince Hall Affiliated 32nd Degree Masons, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, 112th Field Artillery Association, and the Omega Delta Upsilon Foundation.

He is married to Dorinda Sapp, the father of W. Zachery Nall and now known as Papi to his two-month-old granddaughter, Eliza Jade.

Mark Anthony Pettiford is a future forward, people centric, enterprise wide, general management leader with extensive executive leadership experience in Healthcare, Consumer Products and Consumer Packaged Goods. 

Mark’s 33-year career included assignments of increasing responsibility with Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health, Kellogg North America, Reckitt Benckiser, and Schering-Plough.

Mark retired in December 2023 from his role as Vice President US Sales Operations and Revenue Growth Management, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Healthcare, where he served on the US Sales Leadership Team, Global Revenue Growth Management Steering Committee, J&J Consumer/Kenvue Global Business Separation Team, J&J Consumer Global Diversity Equity & Inclusion Steerco, and as US Chair – J&J African Ancestry Leadership Council.

Mark has been recognized by Johnson & Johnson as the 2023 Diamond Leadership Award recipient, 2021 African Ancestry Leadership Member of the Year Award, Global DE&I Leadership Award, and the Consumer Health Spark Award.  Mark has also been recognized in the industry with the 2022 top 100 US Revenue Growth Operations Leadership award.

Mark’s “Life Motto” is to be Authentic and Driven by Doing What’s Right.

Mark was initiated into The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. in 2022, holds NAACP Silver Life Membership, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Life Membership and serves on the Delta Upsilon Chapter Executive Committee as the current Keeper of Records and Seal, past Chairman of the Scholarship Committee and is a current member of the executive committee for the Delta Upsilon Foundation.

Mark currently works in the business development Consulting field with the Gerson Lehrman Group and Atheneum, and he celebrates free time with his wife Porsche, and son Blake, and enjoys golfing, sports, and fun with a host of Family and good friends.
