To ameliorate conditions vital to the life and well-0being of Trenton area residents, Delta Upsilon Chapter, an unaffiliated entity of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., has formed a Community Development Corporation. The entity is specifically designed to engender care, nurture, and support the constituents of this community as a faith-based directive. Our sense of duty arises from communal, familial, educational, and spiritual commitments and does not neglect the prevailing social and physical conditions of those who may not share the same identification. We recognize that that our creator has endowed all men and women with certain inalienable rights, among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; therefore, we foster these precepts for all , excluding no one.

The name of this incorporation shall be Omega Delta Upsilon Foundation, Incorporated. The Foundation shall be a private, nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the state of New Jersey. Its purposes are to deliver social, educational, financial, cultural, civic, and community-enriching programs and services. More specifically, it shall exercise all powers conferred upon it as a non-profit entity in the delivery of all charitable and community services.

In support of these initiatives, the Foundation shall utilize various fundraising mechanisms, including but not limited to the power to accept donations of money or property (whether real or personal), raise money through fundraising activities, and solicit grant awards.

The Foundation considers critical the empowerment of the urban community through Manhood/Womanhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift. Therefore, it seeks to directly address issues of inequality, inequity, or disparity as they relate to the urban environment.
